Effective, Efficient, & Affordable.

You've Applied...Now What?

  • #1 is to keep performing...hit the books and do as well in your classes as you possibly can.
  • Possible outcomes (admit, reject, defer, waitlist, conditional, admit-no aid, etc.)
  • Stay connected with your colleges - each school will have their own portal to check the status of your application. Stay organized!
  • Watch for any additional forms or scholarship applications and associated deadlines.
  • Proper Notification - You will typically receive notifications via email or on your portal. Most schools will still mail an acceptance packet as well. However, you will receive the most current information on the portal.
  • Protocol/Courtesies - Once you have made your final decision, it is polite to let the other schools on your list know you will be attending elsewhere. You do not have to tell them where.
  • Ethical/Moral Issues - you may only place an enrollment deposit with one school. If you are accepted off of a waitlist, you can cancel the deposit (although most are non-refundable).
  • Graduate!!!
